Why is CELTA so valuable?
Three out of four English language teaching jobs require a CELTA qualification* making this course the gold standard if you want a job in TEFL. The CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is the world’s most widely-recognised qualification for teaching English.
It is highly regarded globally by organisations which employ English language teachers. With a CELTA you can start a life-changing career helping students, and open the door to a world of possibilities.
It is a qualification from Cambridge Assessment English, which is part of the University of Cambridge.

About the school
IH Kyiv was founded in 1992. We now have two locations in the city, each with spacious classrooms smart-boards, photocopiers and good facilities.
We are honoured to work with a strong management team and a dedicated teaching staff committed to providing an excellent service to all our students.
If you come here to work or study, we hope you will feel the buzzing of energy and enthusiasm which we feel around the school every day.
If you are arriving in Kiev at the ‘Boryspil’ International Airport, it’s about a 45 mins bus or train ride away from the city. The nearest underground station to us is ‘Polytechnychna’, just 10 minutes from the school. There are bus stops nearby as well.
The school is close to the city centre and the underground station, and there are big supermarkets and dining places close by. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor of our building.

Accommodation
In Kyiv the average monthly fee for one-room flat to rent is 8 000 UAH.
Although we do not have specific accommodation, we provide candidates with guidance and they can then book themselves.
